[Remote] P&C Insurance Sales Agent
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MindCypher is a hybrid Insurance brokerage firm at the intersection of commercial insurance and managed security and AI services. They are seeking a driven P&C Insurance Sales Agent to own the full commercial insurance sales cycle and develop a pipeline of commercial clients across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop a pipeline of commercial clients across multiple industries — tech, healthcare, professional services, construction, and beyond
- Quote, present, and bind commercial policies including GL, BOP, professional liability, and specialty lines
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions — you consult, not just sell
- Build and maintain referral relationships with attorneys, accountants, IT consultants, and business advisors
- Manage renewals and annual coverage reviews to retain and grow your book
- Process endorsements, policy changes, and documentation accurately and on time
- Stay current on market trends, carrier appetite, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with our technical team to introduce cybersecurity services where relevant
Skills
- 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience
- Proven track record hitting production targets in a client-facing role
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, remote-first environment
- Active Texas P&C Producer License (NY license a plus) — NY Non-Resident license required within 90 days, we sponsor
- Surplus Lines license (or willing to obtain — we sponsor)
- Experience selling to startups, tech companies, or healthcare clients
- Familiarity with specialty or E&S market carriers
- Background in or exposure to IT services, MSP, or cybersecurity sales
