Someone to serve as the creative force behind short-form video content that entertains and educates audiences on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Working with a small team with a blend of trend-driven creativity and cybersecurity insight, you’ll help Malwarebytes grow its presence on social media. You’ll know what’s hot and what can stop someone’s scroll, and be able to turn that into cool content. You won’t be afraid to fail because you’ll know that will inform your future decisions and lead to better content in the future. What You’ll Do: Content creation
- Conceptualize, script, film, and edit shortform funny videos tailored to both TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Be one of the faces of our brand on video Leverage trending audio, visual effects, and content formats to enhance reach and engagement.
Repurpose existing content for interesting shortform video
- Turn breaking cybersecurity news into video content, with advice to help our audience
- Look at ways to widen the reach of our successful Lock and Code podcast
- Take marketing reports/other data and turn into interesting video
Cross-team collaboration
- Work across the marketing function to create content according to needs
Performance analysis and optimization
- Track views and engagement using Sprout, TikTok Analytics, and Instagram Insights.
- Use performance metrics to form future decisions, dropping what fails and doubling down on top-performing content.
Community engagement
- Respond to comments, DMs, and trending content using our brand voice
Skills You'll Need to have:
- One year in content creation on social media (tech/cybersecurity preferred).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (TikTok Analytics, Instagram Insights, Sprout).
- Preferably experience in branded content.
