As a Staff Engineer - Cloud Solutions, you'll play a key role in enabling the migration of applications and services to private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.

We're looking for a talented engineer who can lead and deliver solutions that balance speed and time-to-market with respect to cloud systems, products, and services. You'll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead the definition, execution, and maintenance of enterprise-level cloud migration strategies, processes, tools, and architectural design reviews
• Develop and implement cloud-native architectures with low latency, high throughput, and high availability
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Operations, Product, and Platform teams to implement and promote private and hybrid cloud initiatives
• Provide technical mentorship to other software engineers and contribute to the development of best practices and standards
• Stay up-to-date with industry-leading technologies and solutions, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud-native principles and architectures, including private (Red Hat OpenShift) and public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong understanding of software design, development, and automated testing
• Experience with distributed systems, databases (e.g., Postgres, Cassandra, Couchbase, Mongo), and application performance management tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations to senior leadership
