About the Role

• Develop and implement technical approaches to enhance the American Express cloud platform, focusing on automation and scalability
• Collaborate with API engineering, UI engineering, quality engineering, and product management teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
• Explore and apply the latest technologies, libraries, and frameworks to create sustainable products
• Design, develop, and deploy cloud services using cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Develop software programs, including coding, testing, and deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go
• Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Experience with NoSQL databases and rapid development processes
