Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and committed Part-Time Bookkeeper to enhance our team based in Waltham, Massachusetts. This hybrid role combines the flexibility of remote work with the opportunity to engage in various financial and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates will possess a robust bookkeeping background and are eager to contribute to a dynamic and evolving environment. Key Responsibilities • Process financial transactions accurately while ensuring records are current and precise. • Execute full charge bookkeeping responsibilities with a keen eye for detail. • Conduct account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Efficiently manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. • Leverage QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial data management and essential data entry. • Assist with administrative duties as required, supporting the team’s effective operations. • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities. • Prepare and process invoices with careful attention to detail. Required Skills • Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. • Strong data entry skills complemented by meticulous attention to detail. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software. Qualifications • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a bookkeeping capacity. • Demonstrated ability to maintain precise financial records and conduct bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
