Company: Open Arms Home Care Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time, Remote Evening and Overnight Shifts Position Overview: Open Arms Home Care is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) Specialist to manage and clear the EVV dashboard during evening and overnight hours. This role will involve monitoring EVV reports, correcting discrepancies, contacting employees to ensure proper clock-ins/outs, and ensuring all visit data is compliant with state regulations and company policies. Knowledge of HHA Exchange (HHAx) is required for this position. This is a remote role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: · Monitor EVV Dashboard: Actively monitor and manage the EVV system to ensure all visits are logged accurately and timely. · Clear Visit Discrepancies: Identify and correct visit exceptions, including missed, late, or incomplete clock-ins/outs. · Contact Employees: Reach out... to employees (PCAs) to confirm or rectify any missing or incorrect clock-ins/outs. · Resolve EVV Issues: Communicate with caregivers (PCA) or supervisors to address any unresolved EVV issues, ensuring timely corrections. · Documentation: Accurately document all manual corrections and follow up with staff regarding EVV discrepancies. · Escalation Handling: Escalate any ongoing issues with authorizations, visit compliance, or system errors to the appropriate department for resolution. · Training: Provide remote support and training to PCAs or office staff as needed regarding EVV system usage. Qualifications: · Education: Associate's Degree preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required. · Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in homecare or healthcare administration. Knowledge of HHA Exchange (HHAx) is a must. · Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with EVV software. · Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain EVV processes to a diverse audience. · Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify issues, troubleshoot, and find effective resolutions independently. · Detail-Oriented: Ability to focus on accuracy and compliance, managing multiple tasks efficiently. · Confidentiality: Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive consumer and caregiver information. Physical Demands: Ability to work remotely in a quiet, distraction-free environment. Ability to use a computer for long periods, including sitting, typing, and using communication tools. Working Hours: Evening and overnight shifts, with flexible part-time or full-time schedules available. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Previous remote work experience in a healthcare or home care setting. Knowledge of HHA Exchange is critical. Compensation: Competitive hourly wage, based on experience.
