Senior Data Analyst (Contract) Our client, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving patient care and safety, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for an 11-month contract role. This position is fully remote, with candidates required to be local to Southern California. Role Overview: The Senior Data Consultant will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making within the organization. By analyzing, managing, and reporting data, the consultant will contribute to the success of marketing data solutions and business processes. This position combines business analysis and data analysis expertise to deliver impactful insights and solutions. Contract Duration: 11 months Key Responsibilities: • Serve as a domain expert in data management systems and provide guidance to business partners on data solutions. • Collaborate with engagement managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions and establish robust business operations support processes. • Recommend data-driven solution alternatives to address business challenges. • Ensure data is captured, structured, and made accessible to users efficiently and effectively. • Produce documentation and training materials for business stakeholders. • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve system data issues. • Research and resolve technical and functional issues based on established priority and severity guidelines. • Provide second- and third-tier application support for assigned systems. • Monitor production batch and ad hoc jobs to ensure smooth and timely business operations. • Build and maintain complex SQL reports and provide guidance to others on report creation. • Perform various project-related tasks, including analysis, documentation preparation, and presentations. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in data analysis, business analysis, or related fields. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL-Server, SAS, Tableau, and MS Access. What You'll Do Daily: • Support business ownership of applications while ensuring effective collaboration with production support teams. • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data systems and processes, guiding engagement managers and analysts on requirements and analysis. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring uninterrupted business operations. • Deliver insights and solutions through comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
