Job title: Personal Trainers Cheyenne YMCA (WY) Company: YMCA Job description : The YMCA of Northern Colorado has openings in Cheyenne for responsible and energetic individual and small group Personal Trainers. You will help to support your clients' safety and training goals while leading them in appropriate activities. As a YMCA staff member, you'll provide excellent service to members in a positive environment that promotes wellness and engagement. General Job Duties: Develop, implement and instruct a variety of personal training and small group training sessions for members. Provide encouragement and expertise for the client in support of their health and well-being goals. Administer, track and evaluate health history questionnaires, fitness assessments and other pre-participation documentation with regard to individual exercise programs. Adhere to all guidelines and expectations which include but is not limited to providing safe sessions and responding to and reporting any accidents or incidents. Requirements/Certifications: Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certification such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) American Council on Exercise (ACE) National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) or other approved and accredited certifications. Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen. Demonstrated customer service skills and verbal communication skills. Salary range $14.50-$24.75 per hour based on experience/availability. We have 3 levels of qualifications with ascending pay ranges. All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10+ hours receives a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to the . Full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation, 88 hours of paid sick time, and 8 paid holidays per year. Free YMCA programs include: after-school programs, Camp NOCO traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate, and swim lessons. Discounted YMCA programs include: preschool, YMCA Camp Santa Maria overnight camp, personal training, and specialty summer camps. The Y offers generous medical, dental, and vision benefits.
