Retail Operations Assistant Dollar Tree is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. Summary of Position: Responsible for aiding in the complete management of the store's operations with assigned tasks and duties. Provide support to the retail team in delivering a positive customer experience through effective store merchandising. Adept in the various aspects of sales operations including managing cash registers, delivering customer service, and restocking inventory. Major tasks and responsibilities:
- Undertake all sales transactions while managing the designated cash register.
- Guarantees the security and safety of all monetary funds.
- Enhances the safety of every company asset.
- Consistently delivers first-rate customer service with high attention to detail.
- Uses a friendly and accommodating demeanor in dealing with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Receives merchandise.
- Offer assistance in the unloading operation of trucks.
- Demonstrates a diligent approach towards workplace safety.
- Ensures that the policies and procedures are followed and enforced at all times.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Proficient cash accounting requires a sound grasp of mathematical principles, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Verbal communication is a crucial skill for establishing a successful relationship with customers.
- A trustworthy and honest person with a high level of integrity is sought after for the role of a cash handler.
