Support & Empower Students | Full-Time Paraprofessionals Needed in Winnetka, IL (North Chicago Area) Location: Winnetka, IL – North Chicago Area School Year: 2025–2026 Schedule: Monday – Friday | 35 hours per week Hours: Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two unpaid 15-minute breaks Note: Any hours worked over 35/week must be pre-approved. Unapproved overtime will not be paid. Position Overview: Blazer Jobs is partnering with Winnetka Public Schools to hire full-time Paraprofessionals for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This is a dynamic, school-based opportunity supporting students and teachers in both elementary and middle school settings. As a Paraprofessional, you'll play an essential role in fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment while working closely with educators and students—including 1:1 support when needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support in classroom settings
- Work directly with individual students (1:1) as needed
- Support teachers with classroom organization and management
- Assist students with tasks, transitions, and learning activities
- Offer toileting and personal care support when required
Qualifications:
- Required: Illinois Paraprofessional Certification
- Preferred: Prior experience in school settings and toileting assistance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable supporting students in elementary and middle school environments
