Process Engineer - Entry Level
Growing Manufacturing company in the Stockton, CA area has a need for a Process Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package. General Responsibilities
- Own performance of manufacturing processes in areas / lines of responsibility
- Ensure that the equipment in the plant is capable of making product to specification at the rate to meet the production schedule
- Develop and maintain standard work, standard operating procedures and programs for area of responsibility
- Lead definition of proactive maintenance requirements
- Support daily operational troubleshooting and problem solving
- Drive continuous improvement in area of responsibility, leading front line data collection and analysis activities and designing new production processes as necessary
- Manage cross-functional teams of resources in Engineering / Maintenance, Production Management, Production Supervision, Procurement, and Marketing to identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Support marketing and new product development in feasibility, costing, developing, and rolling out of new products to manufacturing in area of responsibility
- Act as a representative and supporter of the company to those under supervision
- Provide feedback / coaching to associates on how to improve performance and increase skills / responsibility
- Provide / oversee training to associates
- Ensure a safe working environment for associates
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE : Bachelors degree, engineering preferred.
- 0-4 years engineering experience
- Cross-functional experience (operations, maintenance, materials, procurement, marketing, quality, etc)
- Has demonstrated ability to implement and maintain manufacturing process
