In this position, the Teller II will handle a variety of tasks including receiving and paying out cash, processing loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. The teller will also be responsible for setting up, closing, and balancing their teller station, as well as maintaining a neat and well-stocked teller area. Additionally, the role requires the recording of sales of monetary instruments and assisting with the balancing of the vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned. The Teller II must adhere to established limits for the protection of customer accounts and the bank's safety and soundness, following all bank policies and procedures diligently. The position also involves exercising judgment in applying holds and making check cashing decisions, as well as cross-training to open basic new consumer accounts. Flexibility in work schedule is essential, as the teller must adhere to their assigned work hours while being available for additional shifts as needed. The Teller II will also be required to complete necessary compliance training, including BSA/AML training, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift coin bags weighing up to 50 lbs and maintaining a constant state of alertness while performing job functions. Responsibilities ? Equivalent to four years high school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others. , ? 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. , ? Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, public and other employees of the organization. , ? Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers, and perform these mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement. , ?
