As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at FedEx, you will play a vital role in ensuring our facility and equipment are running efficiently and effectively. If you have a background in industrial maintenance and a dedication to delivering exceptional results, we want to hear from you. Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facility and equipment to identify potential problems and address them proactively. Coordinate with other maintenance team members to schedule and complete repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance measures. Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Monitor inventory levels of necessary parts and supplies and communicate any needs to appropriate personnel. Provide guidance and support to other team members as needed, sharing knowledge and best practices. Flexibility to work on-call and respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular work hours. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in maintenance techniques, technologies, and equipment. Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and engineering, to ensure maintenance needs are met efficiently and effectively. Communicate effectively with management and other team members to provide updates on maintenance activities and any potential issues.
