Float Phlebotomist

The float phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing in doctor's office clinic settings. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate collection and receipt of biological specimens for analytical testing. Float phlebotomists are required to travel to various sites as needed within a defined geographical territory. Travelling to multiple sites in a single day may be necessary but isn't common. Responsibilities ? Draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing. ? Collect and receive biological specimens into the department. ? Properly enter patient and specimen information into the company's computer system. Essential Skills ? Experience in blood draws and specimen collection. ? Knowledge of laboratory and phlebotomy procedures. ? Ability to perform specimen processing and patient care. ? Proficiency in computer systems for data entry. ? Candidates must be able to work independently and should preferably have at least one year of experience. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
