Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs all routine imaging procedures including Nuclear Cardiology, dynamic flow studies, and SPECT according to policies and procedures established by the nuclear physician
- Administers radioactive materials to patients and routinely charges patient exams
- Ensures the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine program
- Texas Medical Board Medical Technologist - General Certificate; NMTCB or ARRT (NM), or registry eligible
- BLS through American Heart Association or obtain by start date
- 6+ months in a clinical area-may consider a new grad if hiring department can provide direct supervision for 6 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine
