Bookkeeper - Join a Leading Firm Supporting Small Business Owners - Remote | WFH Job Overview Be a vital part of our esteemed team as a Bookkeeper! We seek a detail-oriented, friendly individual with a passion for numbers to contribute to our objective of transforming the financial landscape for small business owners. Compensation: (25-)35 per hour (W-2) Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM EST Location: Experience a hybrid work model! Collaborate in our office 2-3 days a week, located in the lively retail sector south of Boston in Norwell, MA, while enjoying the flexibility of working from home on the remaining days. Key Responsibilities • Reconcile, close the month, and analyze financials for approximately 30 small businesses each month, ensuring alignment with your targets. • Deliver exceptional client service with a goal of achieving 5-Star Reviews quarterly. • Take initiative in your responsibilities and utilize feedback to foster your professional growth, guided by your Lead Accountant. • Maintain effective communication—respond to teammates within 60 minutes and to clients within 24 hours. Required Skills • A minimum of one year of experience with a strong grasp of fundamental bookkeeping principles. • Proficient expertise in QuickBooks. • Exceptional organizational skills and an affinity for task management. • A keen eye for detail, prioritizing accuracy over speed; take pride in executing tasks correctly. • An approachable and engaging personality who thrives in delivering outstanding experiences. Qualifications • A genuine enthusiasm for bookkeeping and a love for creating and managing lists. • Strong communication abilities to foster effective team collaboration.
