Remote Vendor Manager for Maintenance Services

Job Title: Vendor Manager - Remote | WFH Job Overview Join our esteemed investment platform, a pioneer in making real estate investing accessible and efficient. As a Vendor Manager, you will spearhead the development and management of vital relationships with third-party maintenance vendors, significantly contributing to our mission of empowering investors through innovative technology. Key Responsibilities • Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with third-party maintenance vendors. • Strategically develop and oversee a vendor network that fulfills operational requirements for Repairs and Maintenance (R&M), Turn, and Renovation services. • Evaluate vendor performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • Drive the adoption of the vendor portal to streamline operations. • Utilize analytics and reporting to guide data-driven decisions enhancing operational efficiency. • Conduct market visits to assess vendor quality and explore new vendor opportunities. • Provide insightful performance feedback to the vendor network regularly. • Identify sourcing deficiencies, prioritize requirements, and onboard new vendors. • Negotiate pricing structures to optimize cost management. • Represent vendor interests within the organization, ensuring clear communication and collaboration. • Assist the internal operations team by addressing and resolving operational challenges flexibly. • Manage escalations, documenting and resolving issues effectively. • Collaborate seamlessly within a cross-functional team environment. Required Skills • 5+ years of experience in establishing and cultivating vendor relationships. • Familiarity with operations in the residential Repairs and Maintenance sector. • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and pricing models. • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities, particularly in high-pressure scenarios. • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for engaging both internal teams and external partners. • Interpersonal skills adept at interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives and field staff. • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. • Proficiency in technology and data-driven decision-making. • Experience with Google Suite applications, focusing on effective collaboration. Qualifications • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in vendor relationship management. • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Compensation

And Benefits The annual salary for this role ranges from (80,000 to )90,000, commensurate with experience and location.
