QA (Cypress) Engineer
Position: QA (Cypress) Engineer Location: Johnston, RI (Remote for now) Duration: Full Time Skill set: Specialist in the Software Testing/Test automation space with good inter-personal skills. Should be proficient in Cypress automation with JavaScript/Typescript and also prior knowledge of Azure DevOps would be an added advantage. Should have experience in manual testing. Should have solid foundation of STLC. Should be a team player. Prior knowledge of Agile methodology and different scrum ceremonies would be an added advantage. Role/Responsibilities: Writing automation test scripts using Cypress (in Typescript/JavaScript). Evaluate and understand current state of testing and driving change to increase test automation and try to improve overall testing practices. Analyzing user stories and Figma design to create, maintain and execute manual testcases in ADO test suite. Prepare necessary test artifacts for the project. Attending different scrum ceremonies and other project related meetings. Analyzing and contributing in the test development process including: design, review, implementation and execution. Working closely with the dev team and different stakeholders to maintain the overall test infrastructure and highlight the grey areas of the application. Apply Job!
