Location: Pennsylvania, Kingston | Virtual Opportunity Dates: December 2024- May 2025 School Year Caseload Information: • Part Time | 10+ hours a week • K-12th Grade students Job Details: • Develop behavioral plans to support students with behavioral challenges. • Assist students during crises, such as family issues, trauma, or mental health emergencies. • Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress. • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. • Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies to enhance communication skills in the classroom. • Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of orientation mobility. Requirements: • Completion of a Master’s program in School Social Work from an accredited school. • PA State licensure to practice as a social worker. • 310 License in PA is a must-have. • Active membership in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). • Experience preferred working with children in a school setting. • Previous experience assisting students with behavioral issues.
