Freelance Transcribers - Telugu (India)

Work location: Remote in India. Engagement model: Freelance. Expected start date: Immediately Estimated project duration: 1 month Preferred availability: 10 hours per week or more DataForce at TransPerfect is looking for Telugu speakers to join our Olivenite project as Freelance Transcribers. Task Description As a Transcriber you will: • Listen to audio files and edit pre-transcribed texts following provided guidelines. • Transcribe and/or edit target language conversations according to requirements outlined in project guidelines. • Segment the speech to identify different speaker turns • Annotate non-speech events (e.g., background music)

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifying criteria: - Be over 18 years old. - Reside in India. - Have idiomatic fluency in Bengali/ Telugu/ Marathi. - Have advanced English-language skills. - Have availability to work 10 hours per week or more. - Have access to a reliable and steady internet connection and computer. - Have excellent spelling and grammar knowledge, typing speed and accuracy. - Have excellent time management. - Be able to understand and implement feedback. - Previous transcription and/or annotation experience is a plus.
