Position Overview As a part-time Remote Tutor, you will engage with high school students in subjects such as ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, Subject Tests, AP exams, IB subjects, along with academic skills. We also welcome instructors for GRE and GMAT preparation tailored for graduate students. Your role will primarily involve conducting private tutoring sessions, both at our local offices and online via platforms such as Skype, FaceTime, or Zoom. We seek a commitment of at least ten hours per week, with session availability contingent on your expertise and demand. You will be integrated into a local office with an established student base, and while referrals are encouraged through your exceptional skills, initial student recruitment will not be required. Key Responsibilities • Facilitate private tutoring sessions in various subjects. • Actively engage with parents to address their concerns and provide exceptional service. • Deliver quality instruction that inspires and motivates students to excel. • Maintain a professional demeanor while connecting with students and their families. • Prepare thoroughly for each session to ensure effective teaching. Who We're Looking For To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess: • A four-year college degree. • The ability to achieve the required percentile scores for your selected tutoring subjects, such as: • 99th percentile or above for ACT/SAT, Subject Tests, or AP exams • 95th percentile for academic subjects on associated Subject Tests • 90th percentile for GMAT and GRE tutoring. Compensation
