Description

As a flight attendant with Delta Airlines, you will be tasked with ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers aboard our flights. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a high degree of professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

– Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft cabin is prepared for the flight.

– Greet passengers, assist with seating, and provide an overview of aircraft safety procedures.

– Respond to passengers’ inquiries and needs promptly to ensure a memorable travel experience.

– Administer and coordinate in-flight sales of food, beverages, and duty-free items.

– Handle emergencies and unforeseen situations effectively according to Delta’s protocol.

– Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and professionalism at all times.

– Participate in regular training sessions and stay up-to-date with all safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements

– Minimum age of 21 years.

– High school diploma or GED equivalent; further education is advantageous.

– Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

– Legal authorization to work in the United States.

– Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

– Must be able to reach overhead bins and stand for extended periods.

– Must be adaptable to a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Educational Qualifications

– High School Diploma or GED required.

– Training in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.

– Hospitality, customer service, or airline-specific training is a plus.

Experience

– Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred but not required.

– Experience in handling difficult situations or emergencies is advantageous.
