Job Summary:

Job Description:

As a CDL Class A driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck, managing local delivery routes, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages. You will be handling both daily operations and customer service tasks, making sure each delivery is completed efficiently while maintaining UPS’s high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

– Safely operate a heavy commercial truck

– Handle local delivery routes and ensure timely delivery of packages

– Load and unload cargo

– Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving trucks and delivering packages

– Maintain truck cleanliness and ensure it is mechanically sound

– Report any issues or incidents to dispatch

– Adhere to UPS regulations and standards

Requirements:

– Valid CDL Class A license

– Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience

– Clean driving record with no traffic violations

– Ability to handle physical workload

– Strong attention to detail

– Excellent customer service skills

Educational Qualifications:

– High School Diploma or GED

– Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A
