Job Summary:

Planet Fitness, a leading health and wellness company in the United States, is seeking a part-time Fitness Trainer for our West Plains location. This position offers flexible hours under 4 hours per shift, competitive hourly wage, and a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacation.

Job Description:

As a Fitness Trainer at Planet Fitness, you will be responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while conducting fitness assessments, sign ups, and maintaining a clean and safe workout environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct fitness consultations and assessments

2. Assist and educate members on the use of gym equipment and services.

3. Maintain cleanliness and organization on the gym floor.

4. Assist in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and positive environment.

5. Promote a positive member experience through exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

1. A passion for fitness and health.

2. Upbeat and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.

3. Familiarity with fitness equipment and gym facilities.

4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

5. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education & Experience:

1. High School Diploma or GED required.

2. Certification from a nationally recognized training organization is preferred.

3. Experience working in the fitness industry or a gym environment is a plus.
