Online Special Education Facilitator

Key Responsibilities... • Design and implement effective online instruction tailored to the specific needs of students with learning disabilities. • Manage and oversee the development of digital Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and learning plans focused on each student's educational goals. • Provide specialized instruction in core academic areas, adapting methods to cater to a diverse range of learning needs. • Administer and analyze virtual assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as required. • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure proper accommodations and modifications are in place. • Maintain open and regular communication with students and their families, offering updates and support. • Engage in ongoing professional development through virtual meetings and learning communities to enhance teaching effectiveness. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education; Master's degree preferred. • Certification: Valid teaching license with an endorsement in learning disabilities. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a special education environment. • Technical Skills: Proficient in assistive technology and virtual learning platforms. • Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities, adept at differentiating instruction for an online setting. • Personal Qualities: Exhibits patience, dedication, and a strong commitment to student success.
