What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities and Daily Activities
As a Locker+ Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, your responsibilities will be diverse, engaging, and essential to the smooth operation of our retail sites. No two days will look exactly the same, but every day will give you the opportunity to make a positive impact.
- Order Management: Receive inbound customer orders, accurately pick and stow packages in designated locker compartments, and prepare items for customer pickup or courier delivery.
- Returns Processing: Carefully process customer returns, inspect items for condition, and ensure proper restocking or forwarding according to arenaflex procedures.
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about locker operations, assist with code retrieval, and provide clear instructions for first-time locker users.
- Problem Resolution: Work through various customer service scenarios, including misplaced codes, oversized packages, locker malfunctions, and time-sensitive inquiries, always with patience and professionalism.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for both customers and fellow team members throughout your shift.
- Site Operations: Take ownership of opening and closing procedures for your assigned Locker+ location, including cash handling, inventory checks, and security protocols.
- Technology Utilization: Use smartphones, handheld scanners, and arenaflex proprietary software to sort, scan, track, and prepare orders efficiently.
- Logistics Support: Receive truck deliveries, unload shipments, and coordinate with delivery drivers to maintain seamless package flow.
- Physical Labor: Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting packages up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Mobility Requirements: Stand and walk for up to five hours per shift, navigate stairs when applicable, and use carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move items safely throughout the site.
- Flexible Scheduling: Be available to work part-time shifts between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules that may vary week to week based on business needs.
