The Manager of Business Intelligence is primarily responsible for the success of Bethany's business intelligence efforts. This position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Business Intelligence team while also actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of products. This role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Information Systems, software developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define software requirements, prioritize tasks, and set project goals while ensuring that the team products meet the diverse needs of the agency. This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manges the Business Intelligence team, including hiring, training, and staff supervision;
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure that team members are motivated and engaged in their work;
- Manage team sprint and scrum meetings to ensure alignment with departmental project management guidelines;
- Oversee team performance and accountable to team KPIs;
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure that business intelligence products meet the needs of the business and our customers;
- Implement and maintain business intelligence best practices and quality standards, and ensure that they are followed by the team;
- Identify areas for process improvement, and implement changes to optimize data infrastructure;
