We are currently seeking a Senior Site Contracts Lead to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Site Contracts Lead at ICON, you will oversee the negotiation and management of clinical trial agreements and related site contracts for complex, global studies. You will ensure that contracts are executed efficiently, compliantly, and in alignment with customer and organisational requirements. What You Will Be Doing: Leading the development, negotiation, and finalisation of site contracts and budgets for complex or high-priority clinical studies. Acting as a key point of escalation for contract issues, proposing solutions that balance site needs, sponsor requirements, and internal policies. Collaborating with legal, finance, project management, and other stakeholders to resolve contractual questions and ensure alignment. Monitoring contract cycle times and performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements. Supporting customer meetings and governance forums by providing updates on contracting status, risks, and mitigation plans. Mentoring and guiding contract specialists and leads, contributing to training, standards, and best practices within the contracts function. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in law, business, life sciences, or a related field; legal or contract management qualification is an advantage. Extensive experience in site contracting or clinical vendor contracting within CRO, pharma, or a related industry. Strong understanding of clinical trial agreements, budget negotiation, and associated legal and compliance considerations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder expectations. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing large volumes of contracts across multiple countries. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service. #LI-MK1 Employment with ICON is contingent upon having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
