[Remote] Account Manager Spain & Europe – Biomethane & Renewable Energy (all genders welcome)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. agriportance GmbH is a young, innovative company driving sustainable change in the biomethane market. They are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive business development in Spain and Europe, manage the entire sales cycle, and expand their European network.
Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers through proactive outbound activities
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Develop long-term relationships with biomethane producers and industry stakeholders
- Help establish agriportance as a trusted partner in the Spanish & European market
- Qualify leads and understand customer needs
- Conduct discovery meetings and overview of our services
- Prepare offers and negotiate commercial agreements
- Convert prospects into long-term customers
- Attend trade fairs, conferences and industry events
- Build relationships with key market participants across Europe
- Stay informed about market developments and new business opportunities
- Share market insights with the team
- Support strategic market expansion initiatives
- Actively shape processes in a growing international company
Skills
- Degree in business, agricultural economics, or related field — or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally with a track record of closing deals and managing a full sales cycle
- Experience in biogas/agriculture or motivation to quickly familiarise yourself with the field
- Strong communication skills & persuasiveness
- Business fluent in Spanish and English
- Experienced in using CRM systems like HubSpot
- Knowledge of German
