[Remote] Contract Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Morae is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Analyst to provide temporary support to their corporate legal and business operations team. This role will focus on contract portfolio management, drafting, coordination, and ensuring efficient workflows between business stakeholders and legal resources.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor a high-volume portfolio of active and pending contracts, ensuring priorities, deadlines, and deliverables remain on track
- Draft routine, lower-risk commercial agreements using approved templates and established guidelines
- Coordinate contract review, approval, execution, and documentation processes
- Escalate legal or complex contractual issues to designated legal counsel or reviewers
- Review incoming legal and contract-related requests, gather necessary information, and coordinate next steps with stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings, follow-ups, and communications between business teams and legal resources
- Provide regular updates on contract status, priorities, and outstanding requests
- Support contract transition activities by assuming responsibility for active agreements and projects during the assignment period
- Maintain contract records, document repositories, and workflow tracking systems
- Assist with renewals, filings, and routine legal administrative activities
- Support reporting, dashboarding, and process improvement initiatives designed to enhance contract management efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, contract administration, legal operations, paralegal support, procurement contracting, or a related field
- Experience managing multiple contracts and competing priorities in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with commercial agreements, contract review processes, and legal workflows
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, contract tracking tools, or similar workflow platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across legal, business, and operational teams
- Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and operational effectiveness
