Position Summary

The CLUB Customer Service Outfitter at arenaflex is responsible for delivering best-in-class service to every guest while actively promoting the benefits of CLUB membership. You will serve as the resident product and program expert, executing account servicing, new member acquisition, activation processes, and CLUB sales activities. Beyond transactional work, you will act as a brand ambassador and peer coach, helping to shape a culture of service excellence throughout the store. Your contributions will directly influence membership growth, customer satisfaction metrics, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver World-Class Customer Service: Champion a customer-first mindset in every interaction, ensuring each guest enjoys a pleasant, productive, and memorable shopping experience at arenaflex.
  • Proactively Engage Guests: Warmly greet customers, identify opportunities to introduce them to arenaflex CLUB membership, and provide existing members with exclusive, tailored experiences.
  • Execute CLUB Operations: Carry out all arenaflex CLUB operational, promotional, and compliance programs with accuracy and consistency.
  • Demonstrate Products with Confidence: Serve as a knowledgeable product expert, showcasing merchandise features, benefits, and real-world applications to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Stay Informed on Promotions: Remain up to date on advertised sales, current campaigns, and in-store events to maximize every customer interaction.
  • Meet and Exceed Performance Goals: Contribute to individual and store-level metric goals, including membership acquisition, activation, retention, and overall sales objectives.
  • Maintain an Organized CLUB Booth: Keep CLUB inventory accurate, displays refreshed, and the booth area clean, organized, and inviting at all times.
  • Provide Full Member Experience: Process payments, answer account inquiries, assist with applications, and resolve membership questions with professionalism and care.
  • Deliver Accurate Reporting: Provide daily feedback, activity reports, and updates in a timely and precise manner to support store leadership.
  • Act as a Peer Coach and Advocate: Offer recognition, encouragement, and support to fellow team members, serving as a positive representative of the CLUB program.
  • Support Across the Store: Flex to assist in other areas of the store as business needs dictate, demonstrating a team-first attitude.
  • Perform Additional Duties: Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support the broader success of arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in customer service, retail, sales, or a related field. Prior membership or loyalty program experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift to assist customers on the sales floor.
  • Hear well enough to maintain constant communication with team members and guests.
  • Perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers throughout the shift.
  • Constantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.
  • Lift and move objects up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, and step stools.
  • Occasionally work in noisy, high-energy retail environments.

Travel Requirements

No travel is required for this position. All work will be performed on-site at the designated arenaflex retail location.

Independent Judgement

The CLUB Customer Service Outfitter performs duties under general supervision, using established procedures and sound judgment to resolve routine challenges. You will often make recommendations that influence work procedures, policies, and practices, and exercise occasional independent judgment to complete assignments effectively and efficiently.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly pay range of $17.00 – $22.50, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, full-time team members at arenaflex enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
