Why This Role Matters

The Senior Data Entry & Voice‑of‑Customer Analyst plays a critical role in the transformation and innovation of arenaflex’s VoC methodology. You will be at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and business strategy, ensuring that the massive volume of survey data we collect—from over 5 million responses each year—becomes actionable intelligence that drives product improvements, operational excellence, and superior member experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional utility teams to gather, refine, and document business requirements for VoC data pipelines.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data models that support high‑volume statistical processing and standardized metric definitions.
  • Leverage big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver batch and real‑time analytics solutions.
  • Implement rigorous testing frameworks to ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability across diverse use cases.
  • Provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations to improve efficiency within the large‑scale data ecosystem.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of VoC analytics, from data ingestion and transformation to visualization and storytelling.
  • Partner with product owners, agile delivery teams, and external vendors (including Qualtrics) to translate functional requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and develop tools that streamline data processing, reducing manual effort and error rates.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to continuously improve delivery cadence and product quality.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and shell scripting in a production environment.
  • Proven track record of building and optimizing data pipelines for large‑scale analytics workloads.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience applying them to real‑world business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with product managers, business analysts, and engineering teams.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and delivering incremental value in short sprints.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus given the Dominican Republic location.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Qualtrics survey platform and integration techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Previous exposure to financial services or fintech environments.
