[Remote] Administrative Assistant - Laboratory Investigations Department

Responsibilities
- Assist Laboratory Investigations Department staff members with administrative tasks
- Assist with all divisions within the Department, as needed
- Coordinate projects with other departments, including production, finance, and media tasks
- Manage the Department's public info email inbox; Draft responses to various inquiries about animal testing
- Schedule meetings and prepare ledgers
- Represent the Laboratory Investigations Department to the public
- Perform online research projects in support of department staff
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Skills
- Minimum of two years of college coursework
- Two years of experience in an office setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including CoPilot
- Working knowledge of animal liberation issues and PETA campaigns
- Proven effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and diplomacy
- Demonstrated effective research skills
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Professional appearance and adherence to a vegan lifestyle
- Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
