[Remote] Vice President of Growth
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alex Partners is a well-renowned software vendor specializing in middleware and data management for the medical laboratories market. They are seeking a visionary leader for the Vice President of Growth role to define and lead the Go-To-Market strategy for U.S. expansion and unlock new revenue streams in the IVD and laboratory software sectors.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the long-term Go-To-Market strategy for sustainable U.S. expansion
- Identify and prioritize high-value market segments (Clinical Networks, Reference Labs, Health Systems)
- Build and oversee the operational deployment plan, including channel selection, resource allocation, and market entry sequencing
- Identify and unlock new revenue streams and untapped business opportunities in the IVD and laboratory software sectors
- Lead high-level prospecting with C-suite executives (CEOs, CIOs, Lab Directors) to establish strategic partnerships
- Adapt the global value proposition to navigate the U.S. regulatory landscape (CLIA/CAP) and outperform local competitors
- Partner closely with the VP of Sales USA to align GTM insights with sales execution
- Architect and manage an ecosystem of strategic partnerships, including IVD manufacturers and LIS vendors
- Provide strategic input on pricing models and commercial structures to maximise market penetration
- Maintain deep analysis of U.S. market trends, competitor movements, and shifting customer needs
- Feed local requirements back to Global Marketing teams to influence the international product roadmap
- Drive demand via KOL webinars, targeted LinkedIn campaigns, thought leadership content, and trade shows
Skills
- 7+ years of B2B experience in IVD, MedTech, or laboratory software, with deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem (LIS, HIS, IVD vendors)
- Proven GTM & growth leadership track record of defining market entry strategies and executing successful growth roadmaps in competitive, scale-up environments
- Hands-on builder mindset — able to define long-term strategic vision while securing early wins and building from the ground up
- C-level influence & sales acumen — exceptional ability to articulate complex value propositions to CEOs, CIOs, and Lab Directors
- Regulatory awareness — solid understanding of the U.S. regulatory landscape (CLIA/CAP) and its impact on product positioning
- Partnership architecture — proven ability to identify, structure, and manage strategic partnerships with LIS and IVD players
- Cross-cultural leadership — strong collaboration skills across a multicultural environment and close alignment with European headquarters
