[Remote] QA Coordinator - Healthcare Apps
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Medasource is an enterprise healthcare company seeking a QA Coordinator to support testing initiatives within a healthcare environment. The role involves coordinating testing activities, managing defect tracking, and ensuring quality processes are followed throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate testing activities across project teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources
- Partner with the Enterprise Test Automation Lead to support automated testing efforts and ensure appropriate test coverage
- Assist with test planning, test case management, test execution scheduling, and testing status reporting
- Facilitate functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing activities for Epic-related workflows and healthcare applications
- Track, document, and manage defects through resolution, ensuring timely communication and follow-up with development and business teams
- Monitor testing progress, identify risks or blockers, and escalate issues as needed
- Support test data preparation, environment coordination, and release validation activities
- Maintain testing documentation, metrics, dashboards, and quality reporting
- Collaborate with business users to validate requirements and ensure successful testing outcomes
- Promote QA best practices and support continuous process improvement initiatives
Skills
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance, Testing Coordination, or Quality Engineering experience
- Experience coordinating testing efforts across multiple stakeholders and project teams
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing lifecycles, and SDLC processes
- Experience supporting healthcare applications, clinical systems, or healthcare technology environments
- Familiarity with Epic EHR workflows, testing processes, or related healthcare systems
- Experience with defect management and test management tools
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across cross-functional teams
- Experience supporting automated testing initiatives and working alongside automation teams
- Exposure to Eggplant or other test automation platforms
- Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR
- Experience within Agile delivery environments
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or integration projects
