[Remote] Sales Manager - Western US Job Details | ZF Group

The role involves managing account activities, leading a sales team, and executing customer strategies to drive business growth and increase margins.
Responsibilities
- Profit and loss responsibility for the assigned domain at the customer within agreed boundaries
- Sales team lead for the assigned domain/customer within the CV account team
- Represents VOC of domain/customer related topics
- Serve as the first point of escalation for customer issues
- Lead 5-7 direct reports throughout the Western US
- Owns and executes customer strategy within the assigned domain / customer
- Manages escalations for assigned domain/customer prior to Regional Sales Leader
- Drives and achieves the defined sales KPI for assigned domain/customer
- Oversee hiring and evaluating sales teams
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- 8+ years progressive experience in AM sales or related field
- Must be comfortable traveling up to 50%
- Strategic thinking and ability to draw a vision for the account
- Strong sales and commercial leadership for assigned domain
- High level of authority with strong negotiation skills
- Engineering or commercial background with extensive automotive experience
- Solid understanding of the automotive business, market trends, innovation, and financials
- Technical experience in product group with a solid understanding of system / function approach of ZF (Cross BU, leveraging deal rationale, etc.)
