[Remote] Firmware Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AdeptEdge Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Sr Firmware Engineer to support the development of cybersecurity updates to an IoT medical device that detects cardiac arrhythmias. This experienced engineer will contribute to firmware design, implementation, debugging, and cross-functional development efforts in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Support development of cybersecurity updates to an IoT medical device that detects cardiac arrhythmias
- Contribute to firmware design, implementation, debugging, and cross-functional development efforts in a regulated environment
- Work on resource-constrained embedded systems and contribute across the firmware lifecycle, including development, integration, debugging, investigation, documentation, and support for verification and release activities
Skills
- Recent experience in medical devices
- Experience with bare metal programming
- Proficiency in C programming
- Knowledge of cybersecurity
- Strong technical skills in embedded C development
- Experience with hardware and firmware integration
- Hands-on debugging skills
- Ability to work in a regulated environment
- Experience across the firmware lifecycle, including development, integration, debugging, investigation, documentation, and support for verification and release activities
- Strong remote candidate preferably from the West Coast
