[Remote] Product Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking an experienced Horizontal Product Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a large enterprise client. This role involves leading the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Distribution Center (DC)-facing capabilities within an enterprise ERP environment, focusing on improving efficiency and standardizing processes across the network.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DC-facing ERP capabilities, aligned to broader supply chain and operational goals
- Partner closely with DC Operations and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify pain points, and translate needs into product features
- Drive horizontal alignment across business units and geographies, ensuring standardized processes and data models across the DC network
- Collaborate with engineering, ERP configuration teams, and system integrators to deliver solutions on time and with high quality
- Define and track KPIs to measure adoption, operational efficiency, and ROI
- Lead the full product lifecycle including discovery, prioritization, delivery, rollout, and continuous improvement
- Act as the SME bridging DC operational workflows and ERP system capabilities
Skills
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally within supply chain, distribution, or ERP-enabled environments
- Hands-on experience supporting DC operations or DC-facing products, including: WMS, Inventory management, Receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, Labor management
- Experience managing horizontal/platform products across multiple business units or regions
- Strong understanding of ERP-integrated supply chain workflows and data flows
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Oracle ERP, specifically Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) or related modules
- Familiarity with WMS platforms (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS, etc.) and ERP integrations
- Background in retail, wholesale, or large-scale distribution environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
