Operations Associate- Annuities Premier Team (HYBRID)

They are seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join their Annuities Premier Group, serving as a key connector between the external wholesaling team and internal service partners to enhance the advisor experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the external wholesaling team and internal service teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment
  • Deliver a high-touch, “white glove” service experience to top financial advisors, strengthening relationships and enhancing overall satisfaction
  • Manage new business submissions and in-force service requests with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and follow-through
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure a smooth and efficient process from submission through completion
  • Partner closely with sales teams to streamline workflows and remove operational barriers, enabling greater focus on business development
  • Help alleviate volume and pressure on the service center by taking ownership of priority cases and escalations
  • Maintain strong responsiveness and professionalism, ensuring all inquiries are handled with urgency and care
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and elevate the advisor and client experience

Skills

  • College degree highly preferred, along with prior customer service experience and a demonstrated commitment to delivering superior service
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured team environment
  • Skilled in researching and leveraging tools, systems, and product resources to effectively resolve inquiries
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally address customer needs using strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and retain large volumes of detailed information in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking abilities, including navigating multiple systems simultaneously
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, high engagement, and dedication to performance excellence, with a professional, inclusive, and collaborative approach
  • Exceptional focus on quality, service, productivity, and results
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond positively to change and perform effectively in a variety of situations
  • Comfortable managing high call volumes in a structured environment, with the ability to remain seated and engaged at a workstation for approximately 90% of the workday
  • Reliable, with a consistent track record of meeting attendance and punctuality expectations
  • Knowledge of insurance and a general understanding of the financial services industry preferred
  • Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality
  • Listening: Knowledge of effective listening issues and techniques; ability to gather, clarify, and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
