Hospital Collector

An employer is looking for a hospital collector in the Los Angeles, CA area. This person will be responsible for the reimbursement of claims from various insurance companies - with a focus on Blue Cross accounts. Must have strong knowledge of contracts and have knowledge of current regulatory requirements to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement. Required Skills & Experience - 3+ years experience of hospital commercial collections (preferably working for a California hospital, but if only third party experience they will need to have worked on accounts for California hospitals) - Experienced with Blue Cross accounts and Stop Loss - Strong contracts knowledge (must be able to read and understand each contract) - Experience with high-dollar commercial collections with a production of 40+ claims per day - Must be technically savvy with strong wifi at home to be able to work remote

Skills & Experience - Strong experience with Excel and Epic Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
