This role is highly focused on analytics, ideation, and scaling channels, rather than video editing. You will work closely with editors and content teams to ensure videos are optimized for maximum reach, engagement, and retention. Key Responsibilities 1. Channel Growth and StrategyOwn and execute the overall YouTube growth strategy Identify opportunities to scale views, subscribers, and watch time Develop content frameworks and repeatable format. 2. Content Planning & IdeationGenerate high-performing video ideas based on trends, competitors, and data Plan weekly/monthly content calendars Work with scriptwriters/editors to ensure strong hooks and storytelling 3. Analytics & Performance TrackingDeep dive into YouTube Analytics (CTR, retention, watch time, drop-offs) Identify patterns and optimize underperforming content Provide actionable insights to improve future videos 4. Packaging & OptimizationGuide thumbnails, titles, and descriptions for maximum CTR Run A/B testing on titles and thumbnails Ensure all uploads follow YouTube SEO best practices 5. Collaboration & ExecutionCoordinate with video editors, designers, and other stakeholders Ensure timely publishing and consistency Maintain quality control across all uploads Preferred Experience working with large or fast-scaling channels (worked with channels that have 200k subscribers and above) Exposure to multiple niches (education, business, storytelling, etc.) Basic understanding of editing workflows (not hands-on) Experience with YouTube automation or content scaling models Strong content sense (what works, what doesn’t, and why) Experience working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams Technical Requirements: Windows 11 operating system or MacOS 13+ 256GB Storage space - minimum 8-16GB RAM - minimum Dual Core CPU - minimum Camera: HD Webcam (720p) Headset: Noise canceling (preferably) Internet Speed: 50 Mbps - minimum
