Service Technician - Southeast Pennsylvania

Service Technicians are responsible for travelling to different locations to service SCBA, Meters and related equipment for our Public Safety customers. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·         SCBA Flow & POSI Testing

·         Take and Record SCBA Test Readings

·         Meter Calibration and Servicing.

·         Take and Record Meter Test Readings.

·         Trouble Shoot and Repair SCBA & Meters in The Field

·         Keep up-to-date records on products, parts, serial numbers, ID numbers, etc.

·         Submit paperwork for billing.

·         Solicit New Customers.

Service Territory:  This position will service specific Pennsylvania counties.  The residence of the successful candidate is required to be in one of the following Pennsylvania counties:  Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Montgomery, Delaware, or Chester

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Ability to travel, visit a variety of customers and work in many different conditions.

·         Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. (Real ID or Passport)

·         Pass Federal DOT Physical

·         Good Communications, Interpersonal and Sales Skills.

·         Ability To Create and Manage Own Schedule.

·         Excellent Time Management, Organizational and Planning Skills.

·         Good Computer Skills.

·         Willingness to Train and maintain Certifications.

·         Maintain reasoning capabilities; to cope with tight deadlines; changing priorities; handle stress and maintain mature problem-solving demeanor.

·         Must be willing to work overtime.

·         Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Credentials and Experience:

Two-to-Three-year experience in any technician/repair work.

Must be at least 21 years of age (required by the Department of Transportation)

Prior/current experience in the fire/police/safety industry (preferred).
