Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) -Analyst, Personal Independence Compliance
Deloitte is a leading professional services firm, and they are seeking an Independence Compliance Analyst to maintain entity data and assist with compliance inquiries. The role involves guiding professionals on policy adherence, resolving issues, and researching financial products to ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Gain a robust knowledge of Deloitte Policies to provide guidance to professionals, resolve customer inquiries, evaluate risk, and determine permissibility of financial relationships
- Assist with the resolution of issues that arise with the processes, system, or internal customers
- Search websites for information about corporate entities and types of products they offer
- Research new financial products and clearly articulate their characteristics to management to determine how to monitor these products in the system
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of and ability to execute internal processes and procedures for the department
Skills
- BA/BS degree
- 1-2 Years of experience of relevant work experience in a large corporate or professional services firm
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Willing to work in person in our Stamford, CT office as required (presently two days each week but may be subject to change)
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Strong understanding of securities and various financial relationships (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, etc.)
