Job Description

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.

National General is seeking an Auto Field Damage Estimator with strong time management skills, proficiency in CCC ONE estimating software, excellent negotiation abilities, and keen attention to detail. This is a field-based, territory-specific role, and the ideal candidate will be located in or near the East Valley area of Arizona (including Scottsdale, Gilbert, Chandler, and Mesa).

Key Responsibilities

  • Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
  • Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
  • Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
  • Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities

Experience

  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $31.01 - $46.87 hourly and is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
