About the Role

We are looking for a part-time nanny to work approximately 20-25 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate our family's schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our children, ages [insert ages], and will be expected to perform a range of tasks, including:

• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity
• Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Transporting children to and from daycare, after-school activities, and other appointments
• Assisting with homework and online learning
• Providing a safe and healthy environment, including administering medication and taking COVID preventative measures
• Establishing a bedtime and morning routine that promotes healthy sleep habits and a positive start to the day

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid phone number and a reliable means of transportation
• Pass a standard background check and qualifications test
• Have a valid Social Security Number
• Be pleasant, sincere, and hardworking, with a passion for working with children
• Have experience working with children, preferably in a nanny or childcare setting
• Be able to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks related to childcare

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related degree
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Fluency in a second language
