Base pay range

Summary Functions at the Standard Level of nursing practice. Responsible for independently applying the nursing process through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of pediatric patient care. Selects and administers appropriate care, considering the patient's age, developmental level, and size. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Must be able to identify own limitations and seek resources as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of experience
• Current California RN License
• BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
• PALS or PEARS
• NICU: NRP (AAP)
• Required to float to all licensed RCHSD Medical or NICU Units and other Departments reporting to Medical or NICU Services Director

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of experience
• Pediatric nursing experience in a high-acuity department
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
